Merging the words "indigenous" and "digital", #InDigital is an international network of content creators from Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLC), powered by a yearly formation in strategic communication that serves 25 young indigenous micro-influencers per edition. I developed this project via Pajuba in a partnership with Pulso agency, for Food Nature Climate Dialogue (FNCD), a communication initiative in Indonesia powered by CLUA (Climate and Land Use Alliance). (July-November 2023).
The first edition had participants from 9 countries (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Indonesia, Congo, Cameroon, Costa Rica and Panamá) and was promoted in 5 languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Indonesian, and English). It consisted of 8 online main lectures/workshops with social media specialists and representatives of big techs + 4 coaching sessions with prominent influencers, to address specific challenges for each creator. The next edition of #InDigital is expected to start in July 2024.
Through the five months of training, the team of influencers had to apply the learnings acquired during the sessions to different content challenges, in which they had to produce content focused on different aspects of their cultures and communities, personal and collective journeys, celebrations, and struggles.
